If music and instruments strum at your strings – you will have a blast at this event!

There are so many benefits to playing musical instruments for children in the early development stage: 

• Encourages social connections.
• Development of fine and gross motor skills
• Increases self-confidence.

It is for this reason that the “Music Matters” Initiative was designed – because it does!

The volunteers will work in teams to make an “orchestra” of musical instruments from the most unusual materials – clappers, drums, shakers and tambourines make up this orchestra.

The musical instruments are donated to Preschool or Foundation Phase in a Primary School.
